Like to relax, listen to a waterfall, take a walk on the beach or in the woods , just to watch the wild life. High Island has it all. We have bird sanctuaries in walking distance from the Park. Surf fishing or fish by taking a chair down to Roll-Over pass or Fish off of Rocky’s Pier over the Gulf. Ride on the beach in your vehicle, there is an open beach from High Island to Port Arthur. No homes just open beach. Bring your sun glasses, there is a part of the beach that a lot of people like to go nude.
We have a Laundry and a Large Clean Shower with all sites being concrete out of the sand and mud. There is a Bar-B-Q pit and Table by each site. Also Rental Campers
